What's hard to believe for us, is bare reality in China: In this country the profession of a midwife is unknown. Pregnant women and women in childbed are assisted only by doctors and their parents and therefore often feel left alone with their questions and fears.

This series of documentary web clips, produced for the chinese market, shall give an understanding of the professional field and competences inherent to a midwife. Among other things midwife Nadine demolishes some of the outrageous myths and legends about pregnancy and childbed and also provides helpful tipps about motherhood for interested women.
